1E Dislocated Worker

The 1E Dislocated Worker training assistance program provides scholarships to dislocated workers from layoff events affecting more than 250 workers. Applicants must document their layoff from a full-time job position.

If you were laid off from a company, but the layoffs affected fewer than 250 workers, then you should apply to our 1D Dislocated Worker program.

Peer Counselor
When a layoff event affects more than 100 workers the AFL-CIO union hires one of the laid off workers to assist his/her peers during the transition. This Peer Counselor is a great asset to the affected workers and the Workforce Network staff.
