The Central Illinois Workforce Development Board is an innovative, guiding force that takes a leadership role in developing local workforce resources for a highly competitive, technology-driven, global economy.

Nationally recognized for excellence in workforce research, planning, and development, the Board integrates local resources through a model "one stop" system which serves both individuals and businesses.

Through a unified planning process that includes local stakeholders, the Board develops partnerships to change lives, create opportunities, promote lifelong learning and self-sufficiency, meet employer needs, and retain well-educated and trained people in the local area.
