Manual Career Resource Center

Workforce Network's newest satellite is located in Peoria, in Manual Talent Development High School.  

Hours:

Monday through
Friday - 12:00 Noon to 8:00 p.m. 

Saturdays - 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The Career Resource Center at Manual High School was developed as part of the Community Schools iniative based on a collaboration of Peoria Public Schools District 150, Workforce Network, Talent Force 21 and Community Builders Foundation. The Career Resource Center is open to the public and offers computers for creating resumes, job searches, job listings and referrals, resume design services and career planning.

By creating community centers like Manual High School, schools can provide a variety of activites and services designed by and for the surrnounding community, enabling people to contribute and develop society's most precious resource - its young people. By enhancing educational resources, we hope to foster a learning community that results in a well-educated workforce prepared to meet the challenges and opportunities of a knowledge-based economy.
